current windows 8 developer preview version expires in March. When will a new version with metro developers tools, or separate developers tools will be released ?
I know the CONSUMER beta will be released on end of February, but this doesn't mean it will have the developers TOOLS.
So how are we supposed to do ?

The expiration date mentioned in the message box is specifically for a developer license to run metro apps. Basically, while you have a developer license installed on your machine, you can launch and run apps which have not been downloaded from the store. This license needs to be renewed every so often. Once the license expires, VS will prompt you to acquire a new one (just like the first time) – you don’t need to re-install or get another version of the tooling.
Hope this clears things up,
