TFS doesn't have a built-in scheduling engine like Project has. In TFS 2010, we do supply macro-enabled Excel workbooks, that have TFS bound lists in them, that provide some scheduling features. It might be everything you need.

Is TFS 2010 solid enough that we can use it for production work? What I've heard on the grapevine is almost, but wait for the next beta. And if it is ready, do you have a url to a page that describes how to use this functionality?

    thanks - dave

TFS 2010 Beta2 is what we call a "go-live" release. It means that we will support upgrading you to the RTM version when that ships. However, it is still a Beta and all that that implies.

I will say that we are using Beta2 internally in production with several hundred users.
