Answered Show TFS users display name instead of domain name

We are currently using TFS2010 and we are merging domains due to a company buyout. The new domain uses a SAMAccount name of user1234 which is what is displayed in TFS, we would like this to display the display name of the user of John Doe or Doe, John.

Is there anyway that this can be done?

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your reply.

For TFS 2010, As far as I know , in Source Control Explorer(like file history, check-in/out, shelve/Unshelve…), the account display as theirs log in name, but in Work Item, Team Members and Web Access…, the account display as the display name, that’s hard code in TFS and we can’t change it. The log in name and display name are what you defined in the AD.
