Is there a way to add a date/time stamp to an htmlfieldcontrol element?

I'd like to keep track of when users make changes to the description field.  Is there a way to add a date/time stamp to the field?

History field will record the time when  Description field value changed.

Thanks Ruiz.

I was looking at the work item with a few people yesterday and we were all using TSWA and we didn't notice that we had to scroll down to see the history.  The area that you can type into in on the history tab is quite large.
