    Hi all,

I am new to TFS, working on TFS from last 3 months.

My Project is Having the following Work Items Types.

    Requirements - High Level Requirements

Use Case - Child for Requirements, we may have more than one Use Case for Requirement.

Test Case - Child for Use Case, We will Have more than one Test Case for a Use Case.

Bug - Child to Test Case, We will have more than one Bug for Test Case.

While Test execution when we log bugs, those bugs are automatically getting linked to Test Cases, If any bugs found without any test case we are creating test case and linking Bugs to Test Cases.

    Here is What I want.

I would like to have linking between Requirements, Use Cases, Test Cases and Bugs.

    Details:

I created different Tabs for Requirements like.

    Requirements will Have following Tabs.

    Use Cases, Test Cases, Bugs.

As i explained above we are creating Relationship from Requirement to Use Case, Use Case to Test Case and Test Case to Bug.

but I would like to see all Test Cases for the Requirement in Test Cases tab of the Requirement, same thing with Bugs.

I am able to Create the Tabs and Create Link, but it's not populating the Test Cases, Bugs which is linked to Use case and Test Case Automatically.

can some one help me to make this auto linking worked?

    Thanks In Advance.

It is not possible with the default link control in work item tracking to show your wishes. The control only support direct links.

Your option is to create a custom work item control that walks through the tree of links and display the correct ones. You can find an example of custom controls on codeplex: http://witcustomcontrols.codeplex.com
