Work Item Types Disappear

Hello,

Has anyone had the following problem?

I make a project plan and connect to TFS server. When I tried to pulish these tasks, the work item type alway disppeared. I tried over and over but the work item type keep disappearing. So I can't pulish these task to TFS because of the invalid work item type. I was bothered with this problem for several days. 

If anyone has any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong we would really appreciate some help.

Which version are you using ?

 

This should work without problems, if you haven't done anything special.

Verify this by :

Try to establish a new TFS Project'

Make a brand new MS Project

Just add one task.

When you connect to TFS, some new columns appear.  In the workitemtype field, choose any valid field.

Don't do anything more than the default on the task, and btw, choose task as a type.

Try to publish this project.

 

Does it work ?

Hello Frank,

Me too having this kind of problem.after refreshing workitems from team foundation server when i click the workitem type field all column's contents get cleared or displays unknown characters.

did u find any solution?
