Restrict link types

Hello,
I want to restrict the link types between different work items. I know how to do it for the LinkControl (using the PowerToys Process Editor) and it works fine for the control but not for the "New linked work item..." buttons on the page's title bar.
Is there a place where I can set up some general rules for either a team project or a process template?
Regards,
Andi.

Hi John,
this is correct.
The point is when I push the "New Linked Work Item..." button on the LinksControl which I've configured to my needs the dialog comes up and everything works as expected.
But when I push the "New Linked Work Item..." button in the Work Item's tool bar (on top of the Work Item's tab) or in the query's tool bar the same dialog comes up and none of my restrictions take place :-( I haven't found a place to configure these "global" buttons which are not part of the Work Item Template.
To me these restrictions should be configured once for the entire Team Project (or for the Process Template) and not for every single control. Especially when there is no way to configure some of the buttons (at least I haven't found it yet...).
What I need is to tell TFS that Work Item Type A can be linked to Work Item Type B only with a Parent-Child relationship (i.e. A is parent of B) for the entire team project no matter which button was clicked by the user.
Is there a way to configure it?
Regards,
Andi.

If I'm not mistaking this feature will be added in TFS 11.
It's not a bug, just a missing feature so to speak. It has been on the wishlist for quite some time.
