Answered Capturing the original requestor of a requirement

    Some of our teams are asking where we should capture the original requestor for a requirement within the requirement work item. Where are other people placing this information?

    in the ideal situation the user making the request puts it in tfs and is thus stored in the created by. You can add a custom field if that isn't the case...

    For this scenario, as Jesse said, the Created By field will store that, and you can add a custom field if that isn’t the case.

    Unfortunately our stakeholders aren't TFS users. I guess we'll just have to create a new field to capture this. Thanks all.
