    Hi,

I created a folder in TFS for Infrastructure team and now they want to track their tasks thru work items, which they are doing against their folder. So, here I want to create a separate User/Group with Work Item creation permission limited to that folder activities; here I don't want let this new user/group access the project level work items and any other access rights.

    Pls help me.

    With Advance Thanks,

    Sree

    Hi Sree,

    Sorry for the delayed response!

Could you tell me how and where do you create the TFS folder? How do you want to create relationship between this folder and work items?

Team Foundation uses work items to help you manage the work that must be finished for a project, so if you want to create a work items, your new group must have the same permissions as Contributors group, such View project-level information permission, View test runs, Manage test configurations and so on.
