Our hardware is as followsTFS 2010 runs on Windows 2008 R2
The client is a MAC running OS X 10.7 and using Safari as the browser
NOTE: Our Windows machines work fine.
We can browse through the Team Web Access Portal fine, but as sson as we try and open a doc file it displays the following error
Unable to find appropriate display filter for file extension ".doc". Add a mapping into MimeMap.xml file under App_Data Folder
Click to download file to your computer
When we download the file it has all sorts of wierd characters in the name of the file and not the correct extension.
Any help would be appreciated...:)

Hi EliasDiac,
Thanks for your post!
As your question is related with TFS and MAC browse, I am moving the thread to Team Foundation Server - Eclipse and Cross Platform for better response.
Hope it helps!
Best Regards,

Hi EliasDiac,
I've moved this to the Team System Web Access forum, since it concerns Web Access.
Do you have Office for Mac installed on that machine? Or do you use another tool to open .doc files?
Thanks-
Ed
