Locked Iterations Structure and Report Data

We are using TFS 2010 and have the following Iteration Structure:

    Iteration

      Iteration 0

      Iteration 1

      Iteration 2

      Iteration 3

      Iteration 4

      Iteration 5

      Iteration 6

      Iteration 7

      Iteration 8

      Iteration 9

      Iteration 10

      Iteration 11

      Iteration 12

      Iteration 13

      Iteration 14

      Iteration 15

      Iteration 16

      Iteration 17

      Iteration 18

      Iteration 19

      Iteration 20

      Iteration 21

      Iteration 22

      Iteration 23

      Iteration 24

      Iteration 25

      Iteration 26

      Iteration 27

      3.0

        Iteration 1

        Iteration 2

Iteration 1 - 27 are not being used, the actual iterations being used start at 3.0 so we have a nested structure:

    Iteration

      Iterations 1 -27

      3.0

         Iterations 1 - 2

We are not able to select 3.0 or any iterations under it in any of the SQL Report Iteration fields but we can select them in Query Iteration fields.  I know this is a wacky structure (obviously inherited) but can someone tell me why we are not able to select the iterations under 3.0 in the Report Iteration field?

    Hi billiej,

    Thank you for your post.

According to your description of the issue, i suppose the issue you are experiencing is you can set value for Iteration field in work item query, but can not select value for Iteration field in Reports as below screen shot shows.

I have simulated this issue as your scenario, everything is all right. In order to narrow down the issue, can you help me to figure out follow things.
    1. Screen shot or log of this issue.
    2. Did 3.0 and any iterations under it could be seen but could not select in the drop down list, or could not be seen in the drop down list?
If I have misunderstood anything, please free feel to let me know.

    Best Regard
