TFS Auto generate mail for work items
- Hi,
Is there anyway TFS can send auto generation of mail with work items. Here is my problem:
1. I have a query which results all Bugs and this will be changed daily.
2. Currently i am doing it manually to send mail, with the search results.
Is there any way that TFS 2008 will run the query and send the Bugs results in email to the given Alias/EMail at the scheduled time (Usually i need it on daily basis)
I never configured or used TFS mail settings. Can anyone do the needful..

- Hi Venkata,
No, unfortunately it's not possible to have a scheduled notification email that would have the results of a query. Users can still subscribe to certain events such as "when my work items change" to get notification emails for these individual work items though.

I understand TFS doesnt have any such feature. However is there a work around for this process, like using Poweshell and TFS Command line utilities?
Please let me know.
