TFS History Field

Question

Hi All,

While developing I have included some temp fields(not showing layout section) for condition. These field values going update by other fields values(just like flag).

But the problem I was facing is these fields  values are showing in History section. I don't want to include these values because it is temporary.

Could please give me some help how do I restrict these values from History section.

Hi Vasu,

That is not possible. TFS is built for traceability and that is what you get in the history field, no matter if you want it or not.

As Jesper siad, there's no the default way to restrict these values from History section. 

For this scenario, I suggest yousubmit it as a suggestion to User Voice site at: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio. Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously.
