Dear Visual Studio Team,
My project and file is protected by TFS. When I start editing it automatically checks out. For the past couple of days when it attempts to checkout, Visual Studio is showing this weird alert. Something is really screwy I feel.
Alert Message:
Failed to retreive data for this request.
Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: 'concat' Key being added: 'concat'
Here is the screenshot of the dialog: http://www.imagecabin.com/index.php?view=311785667b91ab50fcd783a00&html=1
Can someone indicate what is going on here?

Hi Deepak,
I am moving this thread from “Visual Studio Editor" forum to the “Team Foundation Server - Version Control” forum. Since the issue is related to TFS.There are more experts in the “Team Foundation Server - Version Control" forum.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards,
Lucy

Hello Deepak,
Thanks for your post. However, I can’t get more information from the link you provided above, could you please make sure you offered the correct image URL?
In addition, if you choose to use another Visual Studio to connect to the TFS server on another machine, will you the same error?
In my opinion the issue you are facing may be caused by the corruption of your Visual Studio, so I am afraid you may need to reinstall the Visual Studio.
Thanks,
Vicky Song [MSFT]

Dear Vicky,
I regret for the broken image. For some reason ImageCabin images are not rendering for non-logged on and shows junk advertisements. Let me check out from my work computer again today and upload to Skydrive in a few minutes.

Hi Deepak,
It might be a problem with your workspace. Please make a backup of all of your local changes (also changes in other projects if you have just one workspace). Then remove your workspace using the Workspaces dropdown menu from the Source Control Explorer in Visual Studio. Check if your local folder has been removed as well (if not, do it manually). Finally recreate your workspace and check if the problem persists.
Cheers,

Dear Fokko,
I have tried that long time back. That was one of the first initial remedial steps. But there is no avail.

Hello Deepak,
Have you tried to change another machine to see if the same issue exists? And I am sorry I can’t extract more useful information from the error message you provided above, could you please take a look at the Event Viewer to see if there is some use information?
Thanks.
