Hello,
I have some SQL DBA using BIDS, I am our TFS administrator. I would like to have the same functionality that Visual Studio 2008 integrates with TFS 2010 with BIDS (Business Intelligence Development Studio),
We have SQL Server Management studio integration with TFS 2010, but now trying BIDS integration with TFS.
Is this possible? When we select the Source Control provider in BIDS we get an erro stating the Plugin is designed for an ealrier version.

Hi Tumatawhero,
Thanks for your post.
If you want connect to TFS 2010 using SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio, we need to install the below components in mentioned order. The Installation order is really important to make it work.
Install Team Explorer 2008
Install Visual Studio 2008 SP1 (This will upgrade both VS2008 and Team Explorer 2008 to SP1)
Install VSTS 2008 Forward Compatibility Update
As TFS2010 introduces the notion of Team Project Collections. After the installation is completed successfully, you should provide the entire URL to connect TFS2010 server.
