    Thanks for the feedback.  It appears the link to the blog you provided only covers compatibility between TFS 2010 and Team Explorer 2005 and 2008.

    We went ahead and setup a TFS 2010 Beta 2 Proxy and it appears to work fine with a TFS 2008 server.  We actually have the proxy serving two different TFS 2008 servers without issue.

    Thanks for your post.

    In the compatibility of TFS 2010 Beta2, there is nothing mentioning about TFS proxy. So I think this is not a supported senario.
