Hi gicio,
Welcome to MSDN forum.
According to your description of the issue, here are some situations i want to clarify from you:
1. The version of VS and TFS, VS 2008/2010, TFS 2008/2010.2. If you are using TFS 2008, and there is some other information like, "Error", "Explanation", "User Action", would you please post them here, it will help narrow down the issue?
3. Is there any message before Exception message you post out, if yes, would you please post them out? From the Exception we can not narrow doqn the issue.
4. What's the Process Template you choose to create the Team Project?
5. Is Extension for Sharepoint Products installed/ Configured on the SharePoint Server?
6. Is there any detailed error in the sharepoint Server event log ?
I hope this information will help resolve this issue.
If anything is unclear, please free feel to let me know.Best Regards,
Lily Wu [MSFT]
