VS 2010 SP1 TFS 2012 Compatibility GDR did not help

Question

I upgraded from TFS 2010 to TFS 2012. Everything without any problem, Team Project Collection is successfully attached and online. Then I installed Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Team Foundation Server 2012 Compatibility GDR (I don't want to upgrade to VS 2012 because of its UI). When I click to Connect To Team Foundation Server, nothing happens. When I open source code controlled solution I see This version of Visual Studio .NET does not support source controlled projects warning for every project and then No such interface supported error.

What should I check to identify the problem or do to solve it?

I uninstalled TFS 2010 and also TFS 2010 Object Model. I hope this is not causing my issue.

Before you installed Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Team Foundation Server 2012 Compatibility GDR, have you installed Visual Studio 2010 SP1 successfully?  From Help-> About Microsoft Visual Studio Visual Studio, can you see the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate(edition)-ENU Service Pack1(KB983509).

In addition, please try to run devenv.exe /resetskippkgs from Start>>All Programs>>Microsoft Visual Studio 2010>>Visual Studio Tools>>Visual Studio Command Prompt (2010)

VS 2010 SP1 was installed successfully.

When I executed devenv.exe /resetskippkgs and clicked to Connect to Team Foundation Sevbver, I saw The 'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Clinent.ServicesHostPackage, Microsoft.VisualStudio.TeamFoundation.TeamExplorer, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' package did not load correctly.

So I installed VS 2010 Team Explorer and I can connect to TFS, but when I open Team Explorer window, I'm disconnected.

Next time I started VS it crashed during start.

I checked my account is in TFS Administrators group.

Update:

I reinstalled VS 2010, reapplied SP1 (and found F# package) and reapplied Compatibility GDR. Visual Studio started, I can connect to TFS, but when I try to get latest version of source code, there is another warning: The 'VSTS for Database Professionals Sql Server Data-tier Application' package did not load correctly. When I open the solution, there is a critical error: The solution appears to be under source control, but its binding information cannot be found. ...

Update 2:

This means the binding is corrupted. I fixed that by opening File > Source Control > Open From Source Control dialog and selected appropriate team project and solution.
