Can enable project Server -TFS data synchronization for custom field created in TFS 2010?

Hi,

Think that we have created two custom fields named start date and End date for Task WIT in TFS 2010. Can we synchronise these dates with Project server start and End Dates by specifying that in Field Mapping xml? If so please help.
