I have installed
Project Server SP1
And now the TFS and Project integration pack. Do I need to install these updates as well? Mentioned here....http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412650.aspx#prereq
For administrators of Project Server:
Office Project Server 2007 with SP2. Project Server must be supported by SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008. Also, to enhance performance, you should install the update that the following page on the Microsoft website describes: Description of the Project Server 2007 hotfix package: August 25, 2009.
Office Project Server 2010 with the updates that the following pages on the Microsoft website describe:
If not I note that I still had to then make the manual change to the web config also as mentioned in the URL above.

If you have installed Project Server 2010 SP1 there is no need to install the updates. Please be sure that after you installed the Project Serer 2010 SP1 that you run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, this is required to complete the installation of SP1.
