Customizing the Velocity report

Question

Hi All,

We are using Visual Studio SCRUM 1.0 Process Template. We are using User Story work item type instead PBI work item type. Velocity report is based on Effort field in PBI work item type. Now we want to change the Velocity report to generate based on Story Points in User Story instead of Effort in PBI. Please guide us how to make this change. It's very urgent.

You create the custom User Story work item type in Scrum team project?

TFS report filed get from warehouse and Cube, to generate the custom field(or some default field) in warehouse and Cube, you need to make your custom fields Reportable in Work Item Type first, please refer to the detailed information in this document: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms194980.aspx#Reporting.
