QuestionNon Domain TFS Questions

I have a non domain TFS Server running on a dedicated hosting box. I have it setup and all users from all states can connect. But

    1. I have to setup local user accounts on the box.
    2. Even though I have the public URL for the portal set up Team Explorer only points to the local box
    3. Cannot create projects from VS2010 or vs2008

Is there any way to get around these limitations?
We were using SVN, but me being a MS Developer and me wanting to use my existing hardware/software with Sharepoint as the team site, we moved to TFS. All the code is now safe and secure but we have to still go through the hoops above.

    Gathering some data.

You have TFS and SharePoint installed on the same box?
Does SHarePoint work separately from TFS? Can you access the portals separately?
What client are you using? 2008 or 2010?

I have TFS and sharepoint on the same box.
Yes I can access the portals seperately. But I do have it integrated with TFS.
I use a mixture of both VS2008 and VS2010. For the websites we are currently using VS2010 b2 and for our applications we are using 2008.

Everything works great except for having to have domain accounts for the team to connect to TFS and the portals. And above when I said I can't create projects, I meant from the remote computers. I had to install 2010 on the host. I can create projects there and then we can add files from any where.

Can you give me the log file produced when you run the project creation wizard. You can copy it in the forum post. That will tell me a lot of informaiton of what's happening.

Have you had a chance to get the log file?
