It's hard to believe but is this really still missing from the UI in what is to be the 3rd release of TFS?

    Thanks

    Anyone?

This is available in all of the competitive products Clearcase, perforce, MKS and even VSS right from the UI.

    Yes,
rollback is not available in the ui. However it is now full product feature in tf.exe. It handles merge history and every type of change history. The conflicts created by it can be resolved as any other conflicts.

I do see the command line improvements. Does it still require syncing your entire workspace? (No one wanted to use the power tool in 2005 and 2008 because that was such a pain.)

Also why would this not get into the UI?  It is one of the very often used features and I can say TFS is much maligned due to this missing UI functionality.

    Thanks.
