Sharepoint and TFS 2010 - backup/restore inconsistency

Hi all,
What is the proper way to backup/restore the sharepoint databses for TFS (Windows Sharepoint Services)?
Why the TFS Power Tool do not treat them this way (the proper way)? In fact these database are ignored when restoring a backup.
I also have one remark:
The document : Restore Data to the Same location should be revised to clarify the fact that sharepoint databases do not have to be backedup using marked transactions presently this guide is stating this:
"Caution: You must restore all databases to the same point in time, or the databases will be out of synchronisation. The following procédure assume that you are using marked transactions to help ensure synchronization of the datbases that Team Foundation Server uses."
Best regards.

Hi Carl,
Thanks for your post.
To backup and restore SharePoint databases for TFS 2010, we need to create the transaction log backup of SharePoint database(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms253151.aspx), but TFS Power Tools not support to create the transaction log backup for SharePoint database, please refer to the answer reply in this post: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/da-DK/tfspowertools/thread/bdb616e1-287d-4feb-80b3-6a8877786105.
To backup and restore TFS 2010 databases(include SharePoint databases), please refer to the detailed steps in this document: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms253070.aspx and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms252458.aspx.

Hi John,
thanks for your answer. It is really appreciated.
But I still think that everything should be unified and treated the proper way by the power tools.
Best regards.
