Using TFS for designers working on Sharepoint 2010 designer

Question

Hi All,

Our team is working on a Share Point project. We are implementing Team Foundation Server TFS for coding purposes.

My doubt is whether we can use TFS for the designers working on Share Point 2010 designer too or not? or else Sp2010 designer is similar to TFS

If we can use how it can be used, Please suggest me with your ideas.

Hi Bharath,

+1 to what vicky said.

I have recently worked in a SharePoint 2010 development project where we started off by using the SharePoint designer but soon realized that we were limited because there was no way to integrate the designer to the version control, we even tried the MSSCCI adapter for tfs 2010 but no luck. 

So, we started using Sharepoint designer to do the design work and then export our workflows to VS2010 to take advantage of the ALM features offered by TFS.
