    All,

I have a specific scenario where I need to Migrate code from SVN to TFS 2008. Since I found a open source only to migrate from SVN to TFS 2010, I did a TFS2010 VM setup and migrated to TFS2010.

    Two Questions:

    1. Can we migrate code from SVN to TFS2008 (Did I miss)?

    2. Can we migrate code from TFS2010 to TFS 2008?

    Hello Spin,

1). As far as I know that Microsoft actually does not provide us one tool to migrate code from SVN to TFS2008. However, you can achieve that by using Kyrosoft SVN-2-TFS2008. See: http://www.kyrosoft.com/products/index2.html

2). Yes, it is possible for you to migrate code from TFS2010 to TFS2008. You should use the TFS Integration Platform to do the work for you. See: http://tfsintegration.codeplex.com/

And for your scenario, I personally recommend you to first migrate code from SVN to TFS2010 and then migrate from TFS2010 to TFS2008.

    Thanks.
