TF10169 on TFS 2010

Question

I deleted a project in Team Explorer without problem.  I then went to Source Control Explorer to delete the project's folder.  I get:  "TF10169: Unspported pending change attempted on team project folder $/Test.  Use the Project Creation Wizard in Team Explorer to create a project or the Team Project deletion tool to delete one."

Where can I find the Team Project deletion tool?

Hello K.Kong, 

You can delete the project using the TFSDeleteProject.exe tool found under [C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE] . You can find more information on the parameters of the tool here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181482.aspx .

 

e.g.

 

TFSDeleteProject.exe /collection:http:\\[ServerName]:8080\tfs\DefaultCollection [ProjectName]
