Access to the path denied in BuildType using UpgradeTemplate

We are using TFS2010 and the UpgradeTemplate for building. In the Build folder where the TfsBuild.proj is located, we have a subfolder called Pickles which is used during build. Sometimes we get an error "Access to the path '***\Development\BuildType\Pickles' is denied" when running the build. If I go to the build server and locates the build folder I can easily delete the folder and build again the build passes.
Anyway I can figure you what the problem is here. As said this is not every time we build but it happens sometimes. It still creates a mistrust to the build.
Please help.

Saturday, September 22, 2012 2:07 PMWhat user are you using for your build service? This user need permissions to this folder (and mybe subfolders) to be able to re-create folder, delete and modify files in this folder.

Sunday, September 23, 2012 5:57 PMI will see and make sure that this isn't the case. The issue for me is that it is not on every build. Sometimes it goes through other times this error occurs. Like I said very erratic behavior. I will make sure about the permissions and get back.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your post.
If you can ensure the TFS Build Service account has the required permission on the Pickles folder, please ensure there’s no other programs accessing that Pickles folder when occurring the access issue during Team Building.
If you have any further research of this issue, please share your experience here.
