My apologies if this is the wrong thread for this:

    I'm using VS2010 Beta 2 and TFS 2010 Beta 1.

I add the project to the TFS tree but when I select "Check in pending changes" the process gets about 50% complete then I receive this error:

Unable to handle request without a valid action parameter. Please supply a valid soap action.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?
(BTW I can browse my TFS and get latest just fine, just can't seem to add a new solution)

    Thanks

Once we upgraded the TFS server to Beta 2 the problem went away. So I believe it's safe to say VS2010 Beta 2 is not compatible with TFS 2010 Beta 1.

More info: I can check out and get latest, but can't check anything in.
My colleague has the same setup as I do but his seems to work fine, the only difference is I installed this patch:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=cf13ea45-d17b-4edc-8e6c-6c5b208ec54d

Anyone know how to uninstall the patch?

    Hi,

The patch can be uninstalled by: controlpanel-->AddorRemovePrograms-->check the box for show updates-->Select the update KB974558(knowledgeBaseArticleCode for the patch you have installed, which you can see in AddorRemovePrograms)-->click uninstall

    Hi sisnaz,

Please let me know if the issue persists after you uninstall SP after following Jehan's instruction.

I haven't tested with VS2010 Beta2 with TFS2010 Beta1. But when using VS2010 Beta2 with TFS2010 Beta2, there is no conflict when installing the service pack. So I recommend you to upgrade to TFS 2010 Beta2.

Hi guys.. thanks for the responses.

I tried locating the patch from the Programs and Features (BTW: I'm running on Windows 7), but could never locate it.

Anyway, I completely reinstalled the products and ended with the same results. We're going to update the TFS server to beta 2 later this week so we'll see if it resolves it. I'm starting to believe it's an issue between running Beta 2 client and TFS beta 1. We'll see...

(Another note: I mentioned my colleague's system seems to work fine, however it turns out he hasn't tried it)
