    Hey Ruiz,
Since 26th Oct 09 I was not getting the cache folder under “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server\Web Services\VersionControlProxy\Data “on proxy server.

     Steps I followed:

    1) Deleted the file from “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server\Web Services\VersionControlProxy\Data “on proxy server.

    2) Added few new folders to source control explorer using my VS client.

    3) Executed following script on proxy server.

Pre cache was successfully done as it showed cache of the new folder added in command prompt result.

    4) Done get latest from client VS.

But now data folder on proxy server (“C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server\Web Services\VersionControlProxy\Data) is empty.

Could you please please help me what is going wrong???

    Warm Regards,
    Mayur bondre

    Hi Mayur ,

    After Step3, is there cache files under (“C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server\Web Services\VersionControlProxy\Data) ?

Did you set Source Control Proxy in Client VS?

Could you open http://localhost:8081/VersionControlProxy/v1.0/ProxyStatistics.asmx?op=QueryProxyStatistics  on Proxy Server? If you click "Invok", it will display the status of the Proxy.

In addition, I am sorry that I missed your last mails because they seems including virus(about the image001.gif) and were removed..

    Best Regards,
    Ruiz
