    Hello

We're trying to create a TFS single system on 3 of our Machines, we've installed everything, including test controller, agent, build controller, agent, TFS, VS2010 on XP.

We noticed that when we install test controller, we can no longer load any of our csproj files, we get the error below, and when we uninstall it the project files loads again.  This is only happening on our XP machines, in win 7 we don't seem to have this problem. Can someone please advice?

    thanks - Peter

p.s. we've tried monitoring that package/dll in the error message during the install and it doesn't seem to get changed.

    Hello PeterTL,

Based on the screenshot you offered above, it seems that you get something wrong related to the testing tool in the VS. Are you able to create a test project in VS2010 on the XP machine? To deal with your issue, please try the following steps to see if they are helpful to you:

    1). Repaire VS2010.
    2). Install VS2010 SP1.
    3). Install VS2010 SP1 hotfix KB2544407: http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/Downloads/DownloadDetails.aspx?DownloadID=36847

    Thanks.
