How to change the default links in build reports

Question

Hello,

Build reports opened in VS contain some links to files such as build logs and test results. However, they are based on the build drop path, which is a local share (\\server\\build), and the client computers running VS can't access this path since the server is outside their network. I'd like to know if it would be possible to change those links in build reports so they point to an HTTP URL instead, such as http://server/build/, which the clients would be able to access.

Hi Ricardo,

Thank for your post.

You can change both drop and log location by SetBuildProperties task.
DropLocation must be a shared folder.
LogLocation parameter is not documented, so it may be deteled in the future.
