Blocking check-in of specific module

Question

Is there anyway to block the check-in of a specific module. We want the check-in to proceed but without that module.

The module (web page) is used only for debug sessions and is not supposed to be check-in. We'd like to help the programmers out by taking the responsibility of eliminating that module from the changeset.

Hi,

In Source Control Explorer how about setting it for Lock for Check In - Allow other users to check out but prevent them from checking in? Set the lock ability to only be for Project Administrators.

For this issue, as Jim said, you can Lock that specific file/folder under Source Control Explorer.
