    Hi,

    1. To start with TFS, first we have installed  TFS2010 on Development Server with account say domain\TFSDev.

and we have installed database in the same server.

Next i have created some sample project collections and Team projects and we configured reporting services and we have played around on how to use TFS and other ALM process.

    2. next i have installed TFS on production server with account say domain\TFSProd

and we have configured TFS database in different server for production environment.

Next i have taken Database Backups  of projects which are created in TFS Dev Server and restored in TFS production database.

Later we have found that TFS Dev Server account that is domain\TFSDEV has access to prodcution database hence i have deleted the account from logins of Production SQL Server.

From that point when i access TFS Development server our Database administrators are receving alerts that from Dev TFS domain account is trying to access the production database.

Login failed for user 'domain\User'. Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.

Error: 17806, Severity: 20, State: 14.     SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x8009030c, state 14 while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. Reason: AcceptSecurityContext failed. The Windows error code indicates the cause of failure

TF53010: The following error has occurred in a Team Foundation component or extension:
    Date (UTC): 6/3/2012 11:01:08 AM
    Machine: xyzmachine
    Application Domain: TFSJobAgent.exe
    Assembly: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a; v2.0.50727
    Service Host:
    Process Details:
      Process Name: TFSJobAgent
      Process Id: 10172
      Thread Id: 9468
      Account name: domain\TFSDEv

Detailed Message: There was an error during job agent execution. The operation will be retried. Similar errors in the next five minutes may not be logged.
Exception Message: TF246017: Team Foundation Server could not connect to the database. Verify that the server that is hosting the database is operational, and that network problems are not blocking communication with the server. (type DatabaseConnectionException)

The above errors are coming since i had removed the account from Production DB.

I am not able to figure it out why still is targeting the Production DB server.

any help and suggestions will be great.

    Thanks

    Madhu

    Hi Madhu,

    Thank you for your post.

Please try to apply TFS dev account in TFS product server. You can open TFS administration console to apply the account.

    Best regards,
