Unanswered Unable to Open Reports in Team Explorer

I am running Team Foundation Server 2008 SP1 and my developers connect via the Team Explorer add-in to Visual Studio 2008.

Some users are unable to access reports via the Team Explorer and instead see a Red X over the reports folder. I have verified that they have the proper permissions to the reports in question and have verified that the proper Reporting Services URL is configured on the Team Foundation Server (the known issue with TFS 2008 SP1).

Does anyone have suggestions as to other areas that might be suspect? Thank you in advance for your help.

Are you by any chance  running your TFS on SQL2008 ? Doing so requires your users to use VS2008 SP1

    Hello Richard,

      In addition to Mattias',

Could you please check if the uses can access the report via web browser directly?

      Thanks.

The reports are working propely when accesed from the rport manager or from Team Explorer.

I enabled the Anonymus Access ( IUSR_ServerName0 in addition to the Integrated Windows Authentication on IIS\Team System Web Access\Directory Security\Authentication Methods and now the Reports tab is working on the Team System Web Access.

Do you think is secure this modification to the Authentication Methods?

    Thanks in  advance.

You can set the authentication to anonymous in IIS settings of Team System Web Access to avoid the login prompt, but It is not recommended.
