    Hi,

I customized the bug and task work items. Now i want to restrict the users like

    For Bug work Item:

A is a read only User
B is a Full rights users on Area 1
C is the full rights user on area 2
D is full rights user for all areas

    For Task Work Item:

A is a read only User
B is a Full rights users on Area 1
C is the full rights user on area 2
D is full rights user for all areas

And also Can we give diffrent rights to same user in Bug and Task work items ?

    Thanks,
    Anurag

    Hi Anurag,

You can set the same permission for all workitem type, but you can not give different rights for different work item type directly.

Right click Project node in Team Explorer-> Team Project Setting-> Areas and Iterations->Security.

In the field definition, you can set "for" or "not" rule for different group/user, but it seems you need to modify many fields.

    Best Regards,
    Ruiz
