Hello
TFS2010 installation on a single w2008 server
Aafter a long time working OK, automated nigthly builds started failing with the message
"TF215097: An error occurred while initializing a build for build definition \xx\yyyyyy: There was no endpoint listening at http://mybuildserver.xxx.xxx:9191/Build/v3.0/Services/Controller/2 thatcould accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details"If I manually queue a build it executes OK.
Build agent, build controller , and all TFS installation reside all on the same server (mybuildserver.xxx.xxx)

Did your Build Process template change recently? If yes, you need to refresh your Build Process template in the Automated/Nightly Build Definition. Give it a try.

Hi Oscar,
Thanks for your post.
Launch TFS Admin Console>>Build Configuration, to click Restart your Build Service, ensure your Build Service, Controller and Agent all can restart correctly. If received some errors in Events, please check and share the error message here.
After restart your Build Service correctly, as Kuldeep said, please refresh your Build Process Template in build definition although no change in it.
Please refer to this article: http://mohamedradwan.wordpress.com/2010/06/04/tf215097-build-error/.

Hi John, thanks for your answer
checking TFS server event logs, I see that each time the builds failed (or even one of then hung for two days), there had been an unscheduled server shutdown and restart some hours before.
Seems the server restarted for no apparent reason, and the restart was not "clean"
We will monitor server health for some days and see.
