I am trying to integrate eclipse from my iMac (Mac OS X 10.7.3) so that i can checkin code from Xcode to tfspreview.
I installed Eclipse and the latest version of TFS Explorer [FSEclipsePlugin-UpdateSiteArchive-10.0.0.zip]. This is successfully installed on Eclipse and I can open the Team Explorer Perspective
But when i try to connect to the tfs preview site i am getting the following error
The SOAP endpoint https://xxx.tfspreview.com/TeamFoundation/Administration/v3.0/LocationService.asmx could not be contacted. HTTP status: 302
In the login details tab i entered the following
Server Name : xxx.tfspreview.com
User Name: My windows live id registered with tfspreview
Domain: Empty
Password : My password
In the advanced tab i entered the following
Server: xxx.tfspreview.com
Connection details:
Path: Empty [At one point i tried DefaultCollection and tfs]
Port Number 443
Protocol: HTTPS
When i click Next I always get the error
The SOAP endpoint https://xxx.tfspreview.com/TeamFoundation/Administration/v3.0/LocationService.asmx could not be contacted. HTTP status: 302
When I tried using http protocol i got a 404 error as pasted below
The SOAP endpoint http://xxx.tfspreview.com/Services/v1.0/Registration.asmx could not be contacted. HTTP status: 404
Any help to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated

Version 10.0 of Team Explorer Everywhere is old and does not have support for connecting to the hosted service.

In this post, there is a link to a version of Team Explorer Everywhere which has support.
