passwrod issues W7

Question

Have used Synchtoy to synch my W7 desktop and XP laptop with no probs for ages. Now I have bought a new W7 laptop and can't get past the 'network passsword' question. Does not recognise my router password or the homegroup password. Any ideas would be welcomed. Exactly which password is it requiring?
