Corrupt DTA and Checking Installation

Question

HI all,

I have 2 corruption issues, one one clients server, one local.

1. On a clients server the management studio keeps shutting down, right while I'm in the middle of something, is there a any way to verify the installation?

2. On my local machine, the DTA won't open, the hourglass appears and then my computer is locked out, I have to power-off and restart. Is it possible a previous DTA I saved is corrupt? Any ideas how to debug/solve this problem?

Hi,

Like Leks said, do you get any error messages? Verify the installation, you can get setup logs from %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\XX\Setup Bootstrap\LOG.
