SQL 2012 SQL Server Management Studio >> Tools >> Customize >> Commands >> Toolbar >> (Choose Any Toolbar ... e.g., SQL Editor) >> Add Command...

I am customizing my SQL Editor toolbar.  How can I add a new separator tothe toolbar in SQL 2012.  I do not know where to find the command.  In the older versions it used to be the very first option.

    Hi,

You can select the command  and then go to Modify Selection -> Begin Group as displayed below. This will move that command into new group and also adds separator.

Thanks.  This worked.  I did not even consider this was the option to use.  Actually the entire design of the way you reconfigure toolbars has changed significantly with this version and it has taken a while to get the hang of it.
