Master Data Warehouse - multiple servers/instances

I think there are some similar posts, but they don't answer my basic questions directly...
I set up MDW plus data collection on one central server. I want to monitor a second server/instance. So far, I don't see any reports for the second server.
The connection from the second server to the central server MDW database is sucessful when testing it in the Data Collection properties dialog.
I'm using a common SQL Server service account which is a domain account, and also sysadmin role on each SQL server. Do I still need to set up account proxy?
Regarding data collection cache, does each server have its own local cache folder? Or do the data callection jobs on remote servers send data to the cache folder on the central monitoring server?
On the central MDW server, how do you view reports for the remote servers.
Thanks for your help.

Hi District9,

No, it needn’t in your situation.>> On the central MDW server, how do you view reports for the remote servers.
Based on my research, I cannot view reports about the remote server even if I have configured the ‘Set up data collection’ for the remote server. The reports on Data Collection will display the information for the local server, since there is not any filter for specifying the server name.

As for the location of data collection, each server has its own local cache directory. Data will not be cached on the remote server.
