-
Thursday, October 16, 2008 9:08 PMI can call SQLCMD from command line but in Management Studio I see it has a warning (red exclamation). In Tools,
By default, open new enable in SQL CMD mode has been checked.

"Flip to SQLCMD mode in Query tab."
This is where the problem is. It has a warning sign attached to it. Nothing happens. Probably a bug!!!

In Query tab, SQLCMD mode, I have red exclamation point on it, but it flips. It shows a rectangle around it after the flip. Also SQLCMD commands work.

Friday, October 17, 2008 12:17 PMThanks. It does have a rectangle around it. The ! point is something the designer forgot to remove. Yes the SQLCMD commands do work.

Monday, August 20, 2012 8:30 PMIn SQL Server 2008 R2, I cannot make it NOT show a rectangle around it. It does not toggle. Does that mean it is always enabled?
