Could not find method 'PARSE' for type...SqlGeography

Question

Is there a special setting I need to activate in SQL Server 2008 that allows me to use the spacial methods related to geography (such as Parse)? When trying to use the Parse method with geography data I am getting an error: "Cound not find method 'PARSE' for type Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.SqlGeography in assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.Types

Parse() not PARSE()... CLR methods are case-sensitive.
