error

Question

i have error while installing sql server2008 on windows 7 home basic 64 bit OS in my laptop.

it show error like:Could not find file 'c:\d4e7ddf7893f7c41a879e98fe4\MediaInfo.xml'

pls help me to install sql server 2008.

Hello,

Please download the media again. Copy it to a local drive (do not install from a network drive). Uncompress the .ISO file using WinRAR. Run SQL Server setup from there.

If the suggestion above does not work, share with us the summary.txt log file. The following article may help you locate the file on disk:
