    Hi

just wondering if my SQL Server 2005 32bit license can be used or SQL Server 2005 64bit. In other words can I upgrade for SQL Server 2005 32bit to SQL Server 2005 64bit with no extra charge and if so where can I download the 64bit version?

    thanks for any help.

    M

    Hi,

As far as I know you can't use 32 bit License for 64-Bit edition.

There is no difference between the licensing of 32 bit or 64 bit...It still come down to the edition (Enterprise, Standard etc). In terms of downloading, all versions are on MSDN is you have a subscription if not try where ever you your 32 bit version from.
