Please try to download the SQL server 2008 R2 again. Unzip the content of the ISO to a local drive or copy the media to a local drive and run setup again.

Uninstall SQL Server Native Client if you can see listed as installed on Control Panel -> Programs and Features.

Hello,

If you can download the SQL Server 2008 R2 media it would be better. You can copy the media to a local drive, do not use a network drive.

There is no need to use SQL Server 2008 media, SQL Server 2008 R2 media is required.
