i am facing problem in MSSQL 2005 installation

As of now, the hardware and software requirements for the installation of SQL Server 2005, is not listing Windows 8 CP as a supported OS. For more information on that, see here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/ms143506(v=sql.90).aspx
Could you also provide us the Summary.txt file (c:\program files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstarp\Log\)?

there's an explicit note somewhere that SQL Server 2005 is not supported on Windows 8 CP.
SQL Server Express and Windows 8
only Express edition is explicitly mention but I assume the other edition have the same restriction.
