SQL Server 2005 Express Tools

Question

I'm trying to install SQL Server 2008 R2 Express on a customer's Server that also has SQL Server 2005.  Unfortunately, my installation fails during Installation Rules because "SQL Server 2005 Express Tools".  I assume I need to uninstall it.  Question: if I uninstall it, will my customer be able to manage his 2005 instance using 2008 Management Studio?

Hello,

You can safely uninstall SQL Server 2005 Tools and use the SQL Server 2008 R2 tools to manage the SQL Server 2005 instance.
