    Hi,

I have downloaded the CU 6 file related to the db engine (427850_intl_x64_zip.exe with dimension equals 38,3 MB). This is a zip file autoextracting. When I execute it, it is required the last file of a zip file set. ???

Has anyone installed the CU 6 for SQL Server 2008 R2? Any helps is necessary, please. Thanks

    Hello,

I downloaded and install it yesterday and it has 285 MB (SQLServer2008R2-KB2489376-x64.exe) not 38 MB. Please download it again.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I have downloaded this hotfix (twice now) and the zip file contains something called "MasterDataServices" - and is 14.2 Mb. Is this correct? It seems a little odd. I dowloaded the hotfix a second time ( after getting MSFT to send the hotfix mail again ) - just to check - but got the same contents. I am after the fix for the logical-file renaming issue - and wasnt expecting "master data services" ?

    Hello,

Please download one of the following only.

    SQLServer2008R2_RTM_CU6_2489376_10_50_1765_x64  (for 64-bit)

    SQLServer2008R2_RTM_CU6_2489376_10_50_1765_x86 (for 32-bit)

    Hope this helps.
